My name is Charlotte Leung and I am the Co-Founder and President of PURS! I am currently in my 4th year of my Zoology degree and hope to attend vet school after graduating. In the future, I aspire to be a small animal veterinarian! I currently work as a tech assistant at Healthy Paws Forward Veterinary Hospital. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, watching movies, and working out!

I love to be involved with animals, so I volunteer at the Cochrane Humane Society as a dog walker and work part time as a veterinary assistant/receptionist at Bowness Animal Hospital. I also do research with pigs for my honours thesis on swine gut immunology! I’m hoping to go into veterinary research! In my free time, I love hanging out with my massive leonberger Blu!

I am Co-VP of communications and can't wait to meet all of you guyssoon! I have a passion for animals in general and would love to help with animal rescue. I like spending my free time bouldering, hiking, camping, and swimming.

Hi everyone, I’m Iyaad! I’m a fourth-year Biological Sciences student concentrating in Biodiversity & Conservation with a minor in Anthropology. I’m the Co-VP Finance for PURS and proud to have contributed to the club over the past two years. I look forward to the club’s continued growth and success! I’ve volunteered as an Animal Care Assistant at the Cochrane & Area Humane Society and currently work as a Pet Care Specialist at The Petropolitan. I’ll also be researching parasitology in bighorn sheep this year. I am hoping to become a veterinarian specializing in small or exotic pets. During my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends, reading fantasy novels, and of course, playing with my cat, Lucky! .
